Aidan found his love for engineering by recording demos for his bands in his basement. A small hobby quickly turned into an obsession once bands from his school started reaching out for tracking. During the peak of COVID-19, he decided to throw several live-stream shows with all the proceeds going to charity and was able to raise over fifteen hundred dollars from his college students during the hardest gigging season in the United States. After that, he quickly became known at school as the “home studio guy” and soon many records started to surface from his basement. After several albums, dozens of EPs, and many singles, Aidan decided to apply for a position at Colorado Sound Studios, where he now gets to work with some of his heroes.

Career highlights include producing NBC’s Primetime Paralympic coverage in Beijing, producing features for NBC Olympics, X Games and an array of sports, adventure and socially conscious programming. She currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Heartland Emmy Awards. This year, Amy began a new adventure, transitioning from freelance to a full time position as Director, Creative Production for Alterra Mountain Company.

For as long as he can remember, Austin has been enamored with the magic of motion pictures. He recalls asking his parents when he had to finish his elementary school homework to have time to watch a movie before bedtime. As it turns out, you can watch Disney’s Hercules innumerable times! As soon as he got his hand on his parent’s old Hi-8 camcorder he started making his own little “movies.” Almost 20 years later he is still “making movies” as an independent writer and director of documentary and narrative films. He has a bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism from Metropolitan State University of Denver and over a decade of experience in video editing, cameras, lighting, graphic design, and motion graphics. When he is not working with moving images, he loves to spend time with his wife and three dogs, make music, run and ski…or maybe take in an old movie…

Christie Mitchell began her career in Lexington, Kentucky, entering the workforce as an entry level salesperson for Cumulus broadcasting. Radio sales and account management led to a diverse career in marketing and advertising until making the transition into AV in 2013. Christie began work at local integrator, Lava Systems, building out the framework for Lava Security Solutions, a new business venture focused on smart home technology. This work led to significant opportunity in the residential space where she spent the next several years of her career until landing in the commercial industry as Regional Manager for SurgeX. Prior to her departure, Christie’s role expanded within the organization to represent all of the West Coast. Christie currently works as a Senior Regional Manager for Liberty AV Solutions which is conveniently located here in the great state of Colorado. When Christie is not building relationships in the Rocky Mountain Region, you can find her hiking with her dog and learning how to ski!

Mason Pierce has over 10 years’ experience working in all aspects of media and broadcast production. Mason began his career working for Tribune Media Group/Publishing with various technical roles. He eventually went on to manage a massive operation for Tribune which included a cutting edge 4K post/editorial environment comprised of over 35 editors and 3 HD production studios. This operation managed numerous Chicago publications (Hoy, Chicago Magazine, Hartford Courant) with an in‐house video team including all pre‐production, production and post‐production processes. He was also in charge of making all technology decisions and oversaw all aspects of the facility, including systems administration and troubleshooting of any facility equipment (servers, studio/field production equipment and workstations). During his time at Key Code Media, Mason successfully designed and managed the integration of the Oklahoma State University Spears School of Business as well as the Sysmex Center for learning. Both projects were multi‐million dollar new construction contracts with extremely complex workflows and tight deadlines. In additional to his skills on the broadcast and production side, he also supports some of our largest post production clients in the US.

Mat Pomeroy lives in Bend, Oregon and has been with Crestron since 2016 (less 2020-2021). He has held several roles with Crestron, including Education Account Manager, Enterprise Account Manager, Channel RSM, Director of Education Sales, and Regional Director. Prior to Crestron, he led an integration division for a Southern California AV Contractor and before that he ran a department that managed AV systems and equipment across the campus for Loyola Marymount University. In total, he has been working in the AV industry for roughly 20 years. He attended Loyola Marymount University and achieved both a bachelor’s degree and a Masters in Business Administration. He loves all sports, plays a good amount (never enough) of golf, and loves watching Notre Dame football on Saturdays in the Fall.

His career started covering state politics for a radio station in Missouri before moving into TV. He has helped create and rebrand newscasts. He has helped lead newsroom coverage on presidential debates, election nights, social justice protests in Denver and Ferguson, MO, mass shootings, floods, and fires. Occasionally he gets to plan and cover fun news too, like championship parades for the Broncos, Nuggets, and Avalanche. Nathan has won four Emmy awards, a regional Edward R. She graduated from the Film department of the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is currently based in Colorado, where she works as a Creative Services Manager for Telemundo Colorado.
