Holden Payne

Holden Payne is the Technical Director of Exhibition and Production at the Sundance Institute, where he leads cinema exhibition, sound, projection, accessibility, and production for the Sundance Film Festival. Since joining the Institute in 2013, he has overseen complex venue builds, technical partnerships, and major infrastructure projects. With more than two decades of festival experience, including Palm Springs, Seattle, and Telluride, Holden is now leading the technical transformation supporting Sundance Film Festival's debut in Boulder in 2027.
